About fixed lists

A fixed list expands to hold multiple entries in a fixed size field. If there are more entries than can be seen in the field, a scroll bar is displayed.

Fixed lists are used with database extensions. Extensions can add to a fixed list field automatically or accept input when a user chooses an item on the list.

Adding fixed lists

1 Choose Fields > Extensions > Fixed List.

2 Add this field to the form.

3 Update the following fields on the Contents tab of the Field Attributes form as required:

Subfield type	The kind of entries the list can contain. By default, the list contains text entries, and this is what you will want in most cases. For more information about this field, see expanding lists.
Row height	The height of entry rows, in pixels.

You can also select a background color.
